The Dog series was composed of sticks covered with plaster. The “dog” was left in the water tank for over 6 months and allowed to disintegrate until just the sticks remained. During the process of erosion photos were taken with the idea of the changing seasons in mind.
These images were inspired by the loss of an old dog I loved as a child. My family told me he had gone into the woods to die while I was at school. They reminded me that he looked for me before he left. This poetic vision has always remained with me.
I really feel your work! Congratulations
